Importance of Volunteers
Volunteers have made the North Shore Heritage Park possible! Grassroots efforts have gotten Town, County and State governments to create our model park based on plans created by VOLUNTEERS.
Now we need VOLUNTEERS to continue the projects and programs to make our wonderful park even better!
Volunteering gives a person a sense of satisfaction and value. Volunteers will also help to enhance our wonderful park, perform a valuable community service, foster community identity and work with neighbors for a common cause
Student volunteers: Students who volunteer will be able to share their skills and enthusiasm as well as learn new skills and gain valuable experience. This experience might help define a future vocation. Successful volunteer experience will definitely be beneficial for resume building.
